Welcome to Ryanville. This 2016 Super Bowl commercial shows a couple of ladies becoming increasingly distracted while driving their all-new 2017 Hyundai Elantra, through a town where every man happens to be Ryan Reynolds.

Whether it’s a cyclist, a guy getting pulled over by a traffic cop, the traffic cop himself, a group of road construction workers, some amateur football players or a man taking his dogs for a walk, they all turn out to be the 39-year-old Canadian actor. There is however no appearance from Deadpool.

With the women inside the car having a tough time keeping their eyes on the road, it’s a good thing the Hyundai Elantra now features Automatic Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection.

The soundtrack to the ad is provided by Salt-n-Pepa and En Vogue, with their 1993 song ‘Whatta Man’. Originally recorded by Linda Lyndell in 1968, the 90’s version proved a far bigger hit by reaching number 3 on the Billboard Hot 100. It also topped the Rhythmic Top 40.

Hyundai USA’s ‘Ryanville’ commercial premiered on YouTube on February 1, 2016 and is scheduled to air during Super Bowl 50. So keep a look out for that one this Sunday.
