Gucci’s new Pre-Fall 2016 commercial features a song titled ‘Blind Dumb Deaf’, by the Scottish rock band Cocteau Twins.

The track is taken from the groups 1982 debut studio album ‘Garlands’ and can also be found on the compilation album from 2000 ‘Stars And Topsoil – A Collection 1982-1990’.

Originating from Grangemouth, Scotland in 1979, Cocteau Twins consisted of vocalist Elizabeth Fraser, bass guitarist Will Heggie and guitarist Robin Guthrie. Staying as a three-piece band, Heggie was later replaced in 1983 by English musician Simon Raymonde. Cocteau Twins eventually disbanded in 1997, while working on what would have been the groups ninth LP.

This 30-second film from Gucci, which was directed by Glen Luchford, gives viewers their first look at some of the companies new Pre-Fall 2016 clothing collection.

Gucci’s advert was filmed inside a glass aviary and shows a group of carefree models lounging amongst plants, wandering flamingos and stacks of old books. The scene apparently reveals the collections riot of colors, textures and movement.

The ad premiered on Gucci’s official YouTube channel on March 29, 2016.
