Cheerios latest commercial shows us how much more fun, messy, and generally entertaining life can be when there’re babies around, leading to the cereal brands request to viewers for ‘More Babies, Please’.

The extremely fast-paced 30-second spot features lots of home video YouTube clips of kids dancing, playing and reacting to the world around them, with some Cheerios antics of course thrown in for good measure.

The idea of the commercial presumably being that couples watching the ad will be encouraged to make more babies and therefore, more fun and more Cheerios consumers. So if there’s a big spike in the number of babies being born around nine months from now, you’ll know why.

Providing the suitably fast-paced soundtrack to this ad are Major Lazer and Vybz Kartel with their 2009 dancehall-dubstep song ‘Pon de Floor’.

Major Lazer are an electronic music group consisting of record producer/DJ Diplo, DJ/producer/rapper Walshy Fire and Trinidadian DJ/producer Jillionaire.

This ‘More Babies, Please. They’re Fun’ video premiered on the Cheerios YouTube channel on September 16, 2016.
